Jean-Paul Beleshay is the Founder and President of Great Heart Global (GHG), a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a global mission to empower underserved communities through clean energy, clean water, education, healthcare, and economic development. Under his leadership, GHG is delivering sustainable impact to vulnerable communities across the United States and around the world.
Jean-Paul is a seasoned executive with over 16 years of experience in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. He currently serves as a senior leader in the clean energy industry, where he has overseen the successful execution of over 15,000 megawatts of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects.
In addition to his professional work, Jean-Paul has been a dedicated ministry leader for more than two decades, preaching the gospel and leading faith-based initiatives across continents. His work is deeply rooted in a calling to uplift others through both spiritual leadership and practical development solutions.
Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Jean-Paul immigrated to the United States in 2009 and now lives in Mesa, Arizona. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Christian Ministry Training, an MBA, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with a focus on energy policy and organizational leadership.
Jean-Paul has been married to Harmony Beleshay for over 20 years, and together they are raising three children. His life reflects a deep commitment to faith, family, and service.
